🚢 MAGPIE INSIGHTS – Part 2: Autonomous Undocking
After trajectory planning comes the undocking manoeuvre.
We can see how the argoPositionPilot pushes the vessel away from the quay and guides it towards the planned trajectory (blue). By the end of the video, the vessel has successfully aligned itself with and positioned itself on the track. The argoPositionPilot then hands over control to the argoTrackPilot.
In our next post, we will show what happens when the vessel detects a potential collision while operating with the trackpilot and performs an evasive manoeuvre. We hope you'll tune in again. :)
